Gillian Mackenzie

Chartered Financial Planner

Gillian joined W R Financial on relocating from Scotland in 2004 and has been here ever since. She has been in the industry since 1987 spending 18 years working with Scottish Amicable (now Prudential). Although she covered most investment and protection areas, she specialised in pensions and spent her last years as a pension’s technical expert.

Gillian became Associate Director at WR earlier this year and has a key role in the advancement of the private client area of the practice. Gillian specialises in pensions and investments, particularly the area of Pensions and Divorce. As a member of the Resolution for Pension and Divorce, Gillian works alongside solicitors in these cases. Gillian is also accredited to provide Solicitor CPD courses by the Solicitors Regulation Authority.

Gillian is committed to professional development and recently achieved Chartered Financial Planner status. Gillian has the Diploma in Financial Planning, receiving a distinction for the Pension Income Options exam and has since gone on to pass the Advanced Pension Planning exam.

Full details of her qualifications include FPC, CF9, JO1, JO4, JO5, R01, R05, AF1, AF3, AF4 and AF5.
